Flu Bomb Recipe

Equipment

  • fine strainer (optional)
  • kettle or pot to boil water
  • Garlic press (or just crush with a large knife)

Ingredients

  • 1 knob ginger grated
  • Juice of half lemon
  • two cloves garlic crushed
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne powder
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 bunch fresh spearmint leaves
  • 2 tbsp raw honey
  • 1 cup hot green tea

Instructions

  1. Grate ginger and crush garlic cloves
  2. Add ginger and garlic to green tea to brew and infuse
  3. Stir in lemon juice
  4. Stir in honey
  5. Stir in cinnamon and tumeric
  6. Stir in cayenne powder until fully dissolved
  7. Add spearmint leaves
  8. Leave to steep for up to five minutes
  9. Feel free to strain out any remaining pulp
